Good afternoon,
Picture Day is tomorrow!! No costumes will be permitted before 2:15pm. If he or she arrives in a costume, your child will be asked to change. Please keep costumes school appropriate- no knives or weapons.
Our Halloween costume parade will begin at 2:30pm. If you need to help your child with a costume, you will not be permitted in the school before 2:15pm.
During the costume parade, parents will watch as the students walk around the outside of the building. Our PTO members will be providing a Trick or Treat experience. Bags will be provided.

Remote Learning Plan
RCES Remote Learning Plan for Inclement Weather Days
RCES Families,
Barn Hill Preserve will be at RCES on Dec. 21st. In order for your child to participate in the activity, we must have a signed copy of the form that was sent home. You do not have to order anything, but you do have to sign and return. A second copy was sent home yesterday. Thank you!
The LSIC meeting scheduled for this evening is canceled. We will reschedule and get a new date out soon. Have a great day!

Our Scholastic Book Fair kicks off tomorrow! Students may purchase books (cash or checks made payable to Rock Cave Elementary School) through Thursday, September 28th. Please send money in a sealed envelope or bag with your child's name, total sent, and grade level.
Our classrooms will earn free books from our sales. Thank you for helping our school!
If you have not signed a permission slip for Friday's field trip, please do so and turn it in tomorrow. Your child cannot attend without a signed permission slip. Thank you!
Good afternoon! A few reminders...
1. All field trip permission slips for Friday's trip to the WV Wildlife Center are due tomorrow.
2. Our parent volunteer training is Tuesday at 2:15.
3. Our first PTO meeting is this evening at 4:00. We encourage you to attend!
4. We are having our first quarter LSIC (Local School Improvement Council) meeting Sept. 27 at 3:45. Everyone is welcome!
