Starting on Monday, September 15th, Rock Cave Elementary will begin to use the number card system for parent pick ups. Every child will receive three number cards that are wallet size to go home in their book bag, Friday. Parents will need to adhere one card to their child's book bag that is easily visible to ALL staff and the parent who is picking the child up will have to show the corresponding number card that matches that child. You will have two number cards issued to the main guardian for disseminating to proper adults that are already listed on the emergency card in the office. If you do not have a card to show we will need to go into the office and call the main guardian. No students will be allowed to leave evening bus line without the person picking them up having the matching number card. Safety is key at RCES.

Our Wellness Day will go on as planned. Send your student to school in their class color and dressed for the weather. We will do our best to keep your child dry. The fire and police department will be joining us, too. If you see fire trucks, police cars, and the SWAT truck, do not be alarmed! Our students are having fun!
